Eliot Sumner has announced her brand new, highly anticipated full length album, Information, will be released on January 22, 2016.

 

The album, recorded in London, is a testament to Eliot’s talent as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and takes Influences from Krautrock-inspired riffs to pulsing electronic rhythms and pairing them with Sumner’s signature alto throughout the record. “It’s the kind of music that I would probably listen to myself,” says Eliot of her new incarnation.

 

The album follows on from the hugely well received ‘Information EP’ which Eliot released last year, her UK tour with Lykke Li  and the four-part series of gritty synth-rock videos she made for Dead Arms and Dead Legs, After Dark, Firewood and Species (all featuring on the album) and recently posted online to high praise from the likes of Fader, Consequence of Sound and Earmilk.

 

Currently on an all encompassing 30 date tour of the USA, Eliot Sumner has been winning fans across the States with her mesmerising live show which she is set to bring it to the UK this November.
