Charlie Winston

Square 1 is an expression that refers to going back to the beginning. The origins of a simpler and more pure time. It’s about remembering the essence of what was great and allowed the freedom to create. The result of that mental place is this Album Square 1.
 
As an Album this is Charlie’s most honest, personal and socially conscious work. The topics discussed in the album range from having a good time while transforming to another version of ourselves, to migration, refugee’s and Brexit, to Global warming, bullying to the ability to accept failure in order to succeed further.
 
This is Charlie’s 4th studio album and again in his writing we find a voice of social consciousness, hope and inspiration.  The aim is never to preach but as an artist it is to take a responsibility to start the discussion and put the questions and voice of inspiration out there.
